About the Artist
Ralph Contrado studied commercial art at Vesper George from 1977-1980 and then went on to study fine art in a special joint program for a Bachelors of FIne Art Degree at Tufts University and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts from 1981-1984.
He currently works on movie and television sets as a Scenic Artist. He has worked in such TV Shows as Sex in the City, and Brotherhood, and in films such as Mystic River, Gone Baby Gone, The Women and many more.
His fine art has appeared in numerous movies and television programs and also in galleries all over the world; everywhere from exclusive exhibits in the MFA reserved for Museum School students to galleries in China.
He enjoys living in beautiful Hull, Massachusetts with his lovely wife and three children.
